Alton C. Bristow is presently Administrative Bishop
for the Churches of God in Southern Ohio. Previous
to this assignment, he has served in a number of
leadership roles including Administrative Bishop of
Missouri; State Youth and Christian Education
Director; State Evangelist in Alabama; National
Evangelist and a member of the International Board
of Publications for the Church of God. Bishop
Bristow has pastored churches in Alabama, Ohio and
Tennessee for a total of twenty-seven years. During
these years, he served as chairman of the State
Council in Alabama, a member of the State Evangelism
and Youth Boards as well as the Ministerial
Examining Committee.
A graduate of Lee University, Bishop Bristow is
married to Gail and they have three children; Ryan,
Al’Lora and Joseph who are also in the ministry. The
Bristows have been blessed with five grandchildren. |
